From our President: I did not make arrangements for building because of field trip so there will be no meeting tomorrow. See you in April.
EOH Meeting Reminder
East Ohio Handweavers will meet on Saturday February 18 at 9:30 am at the Leetonia Library. We will have a guest speaker – Eileen Novotny of the Ursuline Prayer Shawl Ministry will be sharing the work they are doing. They also accept donations of acrylic yarns to make the shawls, so if you have some to donate, feel free to bring it.
After the speaker, we will share the sagas of our towels from the recent exchange…what we chose, why we chose it, what went well, what did not. No matter what they were all wonderful!
YAWG Meeting
The Youngstown Area Weavers will meet February 1 in the Colonial Inn on the Canfield Fairgrounds at 10 am.
Marty M will be presenting the program on spinning. “Getting the yarn you want from a multicolor braid”. She will have fiber for sampling. Please bring wheels and / or spindles, and any multicolor fiber for the group to discuss.
Roxanne will be bringing refreshments.
A tapestry weaving study group has been proposed, anyone wanting to participate let Sheila know at the meeting so details can be worked out.
East Ohio Meeting
East Ohio Handweavers will meet Saturday January 21 at 9:30 am in the Leetonia Library.
We will be planning programs for the upcoming year – bring ideas or be volunteered! Following that, the program will be making German paper stars.
YAWG January Meeting
The next meeting is on Wednesday January 4 at 10 am in the Colonial Inn on the Canfield Fairgrounds. We will celebrate Roc Day – bring anything you’d like to work on, and plan programs for the upcoming year – bring ideas!

The annual Fair Exhibitors’ meeting is on January 07 at 1 pm in the Administration Building.
