The Youngstown Area Weaver’s will be meeting Wednesday May 4 at 10 am at Tracy’s house in Salem. We will be going through 18 boxes of periodicals for the guild library, organizing and sorting out duplicates. Bring a lunch.
Please note – there are steep stairs to get to the library and there is a hand-rail.

Weaver’s Delight Flying Shuttle 2 shaft loom, 1894 model. Manufactured by Newcomb Loom Company, Davenport IA. All parts work automatic when beater bar is moved back & forth. Complete with extra parts, shuttles, cylinders and cylinder filling machine. Excellent for rug weaving or historical demonstrations. Includes all books and instructions. The loom is not assembled, pictures below are representative of the original.

Sheila will be doing the program on weaving tapestry amulet bags…a great way to use up those thrums! All you need to bring is scissors. If you prefer yarns of your own, you can bring them – medium to light weight is best.
