New Meeting Date!

Youngstown Area Weavers will meet on Wednesday March 2 at 10 am in the Colonial Inn on the Canfield Fairgrounds.

The program will be on weaving trims and passementerie. To participate, have a warp ready to weave a warp-face band 1/2″ to 1″ wide. This can be done on an inkle loom, backstrap, rigid heddle or frame loom. Use any fiber you like, this will be a series of samples so short warp is fine. Bring your weft thread and standard weaving supplies plus any odd yarns or cords or ribbons to use as embellishment. There will be tools for making cords available. Any questions, contact Tracy.

Demo Opportunity

This looks like a very interesting event. Please consider volunteering to do some spinning, weaving or other historical craft. Contact the organizer directly to participate.
