Meeting Reminders

This is one of those months where Youngstown and East Ohio happen in the same week… what more could a weaver ask for! Participants in both groups can pick up their coverlet warp and finalize their pattern color choice. The Boundweave workshop is May 11, 12 & 13 in Canfield. It is self directed, but sign up is needed anyway.

Youngstown meets Wednesday February 12 at 11 am at the Colonial Inn on the Canfield Fairgrounds. We will be continuing the Patchwork stockings by adding embellishments and then stitching together the stocking and lining it. Bring any ribbons, laces, bows, beads, buttons, baubles that you may like to add to the stocking. You will need enough fabric to cut one stocking back and two lining pieces. A basic sewing kit (needles, thread, scissors, pins) will also be handy.

East Ohio meets Saturday February 15 at 9 am at Harmony Village in Columbiana. We will be finalizing the 2020 programs and beginning Scandinavian bandweaving using the spaltegrind. The supply list for the bands is here. Bring what you have, materials will be available to use during the meeting. Two colors of pattern thread would make the pattern easier to see at first.
